Moving-out days and the puppies in their new home, April 21, 2025

Healthy sleep is essential for puppies to process all their impressions.

And with that, the wonderful shared time with the HoG F litter comes to an end

Lewis has a new little friend

Fleur de Lys is staying with us and will be fully integrated into the pack over the next few days.

It was exciting nonetheless; the impressions need to be processed first

The first vet visit was scheduled, and as always, everyone was completely delighted.
The puppies were very brave during microchipping and vaccinations.

Play-date with Enid.

Of course, our property is also perfect for wild racing games.

Remnants of an old dishcloth also make excellent toys

We have a tooth loss to lament 🫣

There's entertainment in the garden, too.

It's getting cozy in the little bed with Mom

Adequate sleep is essential.
Rest is the foundation for health and happiness

The whelping box is out—more room for play

Male puppy number 1 is gently making contact.

They definitely enjoy healthy sleep.

Restful and rejuvenating sleep—it’s so vital for growth and well-being!

Our favorite cuddle object, besides Mom, is our caterpillar.

Our second week in pictures, February 24, 2025

The whelping box gets a new feature—the first noise toy in the left corner.

The elevated position encourages the puppies to use their legs. One of them already tried it out right away. The rattle hangs in such a way that it can be moved intentionally or unintentionally by Mom and the puppies.

Hello, world! The puppies can now hear and see.

This week, of course, there was nail care again—this time, the Dremel was used.
By the way, we do this weekly—representative photo.

 Cuddling in a row

a mothers love

Dakota takes a small break from her puppies - These small breaks are important. She comes for a quick cuddle, proudly walks through the pack, and then returns to her puppies.

Round and healthy. All the puppies have doubled their birth weights

sensory puzzle mats, which are often used for children or therapy purposes. These mats typically feature various textures, colors, and patterns to stimulate sensory perception and motor skills. They can be pieced together like a puzzle to create a sensory path or play area.

Our whelping box undergoes constant changes. Various toys and an evolving selection of sensory mats.

One of the girls especially loves to cuddle with her

Content puppies are happy puppies, and they’re clearly enjoying it. Dakota’s milk is flowing abundantly, and their weight curve is climbing steeply

No Valentine's Day puppies. Dakota had other plans!

Last night, our 4 beautiful puppies after Silkridge Just Joey were born.

I am incredibly proud of Dakota for how relaxed and focused she was while handling the birth. Not even a single pant. Her natural instincts immediately took over, and she effortlessly managed everything—unpacking, cutting the cords, and drying them off. She is taking such loving and attentive care of her puppies.

We completed the birth with two strong male puppies and two female puppies. All are brindled with white markings.

Dakota is pregnant!

I’m thrilled to announce that the pairing between Dakota and Joey was successful.
